I’m back! This post ought to wrap up all that was London Fashion Week so we’re ready for Milan and then Paris (can’t wait!). Along with the shows from the 21st, I’ve also got some pics from other shows that were a little late in releasing photos, so we’ve had to wait till now to see them.
But first for the 21st. We start with Burburry Prorsum who went all biker (Grove! – Anyone remember that TV show, CBBC, no! Just me then!) with studs and leather. Then came florals at Clements Ribeiro and lots of layering from one of the designers at Fashion East. Jaeger London went all blue for spring; then Jonathan Saunders went for contrasting colours in beautiful combinations. Marios Schwab went black and gothic whereas Issa went for bright colour blocking.
This is where we hit some of the older shows, starting with Ashley Isham. Next there are some beautiful pieces from Orla Kiely followed by Romeo Pires and Tata Naka. Images from Style and Vogue. More Info at the LFW site.

Sorry. I’m having a few difficulties with my internet, I’ll try to get fashion week posts going again soon though. X

I think I might be able to say that the 20th is, so far, my favourite day from fashion week/month. There were so many good pieces, and lots of colour, it was just….really good!
This may become evident when you see all the images there are, I think it might be a record. We start with neons and florals at Christopher Kane, then move onto lace and florals at Erdem. Next came David Koma and Nicole Farhi, followed by a fun but fashionable collection from Giles. Then came the turn of (maybe, possibly my favourite of the day, but It’s so difficult to decide!) Holly Fulton.
Mark Fast produced some intriguing works of shape and texture; folowed by lace and legwarmers! at Meadham Kirchhoff. Paul Smith went for tailored workwear, whereas Roksanda Ilincic went floaty and colourful. We finish the day with Peter Pilotto’s 70’s stripes and drapery. It was most deffinitly a goooooood day.
