Resort 2012: Part II

Get ready for a mammoth post! We have here the rest of the Resort 2012 collections – and there are lots!! Ok, we start with Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Bibhu Mohapatra and Calvin Klein, followed by Chloe Sevigny for O.C. then Doo.Ri, Jen Kao and Jill Stuart. Juan Carlos Obando’s beautiful green dress is making me drool, as is the backless blue one by Kevork Kiledjian. Lastly -for this section- we have Marc by Marc Jacobs and Monique Lhuillier.

Next we have Preen, Rebecca Taylor and Sophie Theallat followed by the lovely floral designs of Suno, stripes on stripes at The Row and elegance and sparkles from Zac Posen. We also have Alexander McQueen, Azzaro and Antonio Berardi.

Ok, now we get to some more lovely florals from Barbara Tfank and Brioni then preppy from Carven and floaty from Chloe. There’s rainbows from Christopher Kane, followed by Collette Dinnigan, Cynthia Rowley and Emilio Pucci. Then comes Elie Saab, Francesco Scognamiglio and Giambattista Valli.

Next we have Givenchy and some cute dresses by Lanvin, then vintage elegance from Marchesa, oriental styles from Matthew Williamson and block colours by Moschino. Then comes prints galore from Naeem Khan, Peter Pilotto, and finally Roberto Cavalli.

♣♣♣

Lastly -I promise- are some amazingly colourful pieces by Roksanda Ilincic, followed by androgeny from Stella McCartney and more bright colours from Vionnet and Willow. T by Alexander Wang went for sporty chic (which I’m very strangely quite liking!!), followed by Just Cavalli, Miu Miu and finally Prada. All images are from Style.com.

Graduate Fashion Week 2011: Central Saint Martins

It’s hardly suprising, what with all the talent that comes out of the place, that Central Saint Martins needs a post all to itself. We start with Andraya Farrag’s lacey offerings, followed by Ayako Ohori, Crimson Rose O’Shea, Flaminia Saccucci, Holly Fowler, Holly Skousbo and Jaeyeon Lee. Next came a wonderfully restrained Victorianesque piece by James Nolan, then Juhee Han and crochet aplenty from Katie Jones. There were chunky knits from Lowell Delaney, followed by Manami Sakurai, Kim Traeger, Momo Wang, Ondrej Adamek and finally Shengwei Wang. Click on the names for a link to their full collections. More information can be found at the GFW site, images are from Catwalking. Last GFW post to come soon…
