Old Magazines.

I know I said I’d be away for a month, well, technically that still stands. I just wanted to say that I’ll be selling some of my huge stash of fashion magazines on Ebay. There will be rare Elle and Harper’s Bazaar magazines, also Vogue. If your interested, my page is here. There will be plenty more up within the next few weeks.

Lula Magazine – Issue 11 – F/W 2010

The blogs are abuzz with the image below. It’s the likely cover of the F/W 2010 issue of Lula. It has Charlotte Gainsbourg as the cover star. From this pic it looks asthough it may have a slightly gothic, fairytale vibe – me likey! The proposed date for release is October 30th, but one shouldn’t hold one’s breath as the release date has been moved countless times. Hopefully a better image will be in circulation soon though (the below image is from littlebanana!) But for now…

Just Kinda’ Lovely.

These are from Numero 112, I don’t know what the title is but it’s shot by Greg Kadel. The whole editorial is gorgeous, an you can check it out here, but the pictures above are my favourites. BTW, if you live in the UK, remember to turn your clocks forward a hour – Spring forward, Fall back – yes, it’s the one where you lose an hour :(

All Aboard the Orient.

After doing a post on another Javier Vallhonrat editorial from this month’s vogue I found myself going through his online portfolio and I found some really lovely stuff. The main one that caught my eye was this one below, from Vogue UK, called Orient Excess. The reason I love it is because it plays to my childhood desire, never quite forgottan, of being a princess like that of Aladdin’s Jasmine. Guess how much  I wanted want a pet tiger ?

Vogue – Private Dancer

I’ve been meaning to post this editorial from Vogue UK – April 2010, for a while now. But I couldn’t find good scans or get to a scanner myself ( it also didn’t help that I was searching under ‘Private Danger’ – I really must read properly!). But fearless123 J’adore has come to my rescue. The photos are by Javier Vallhonrat and feature Guinevere Van Seenus. I seem to remember another shoot, possibly from Vogue, that also features the sparkly, slightly burlesque theme + the same model. Are Vogue repeating themselves?! Anyway, I still love this editorial.
