New York Fashion Week: 14/02/2012

As we get into the last few days of New York we get into the major shows, the ones we’re all waiting for. Hense the long post today. Images from Style and Vogue.

Okay, we start with Alexandre Herchcovitch and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Next we have a glamourous Badgley Mischka and Bebe. Dennis Basso followed with colourful furs (another trend emerging!); then utterly wearable cute clothes by J. Crew. We then have some sparkly pieces by Naeem Khan; shiny pieces from Narciso Rodriguez and see-through pieces by Vera Wang…

We resume with the ever amazing Oscar de la Renta; followed by an outback inspired Rodarte. Next we have Sachin + Babi with Tory Burch and lastly we have Sophie Theallet.

Resort 2012: Part I

So the time has come once again for the resort collections to filter through. Here are the first ones…

The first few here start with the wonderful BCBG Max Azria, then came a slightly sporty Bottega Veneta followed by Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Burberry Prorsum and Derek Lam.

Next we have a wonderful selection of pieces from Diane Von Furstenberg which, suprisingly, is my favourite collection so far, DVF was followed by Elie Tahari, Herve Leger, DKNY and Donna Karen.

The wonderful Erdem comes next with lots of lovely lace, then comes Jason Wu and Jenni Kayne followed by Missoni (I’m actually starting to warm to that label!) Lela Rose, Michael Kors and Oscar De La Renta.

Lastly we have floraals from Marc Jacobs, bright summer patterns from Rachel Zoe, block colour from Yigal Azrouel and finally the delightful Yves Saint Laurent.

New York F/W 2011 – Accessories

I’ve finally got all the images together for this post, it took longer than I anticipated. But here we are, the accessories from the Fall/Winter 2011 shows from New York. I’ve still got London, Milan and Paris to do, hopefully it won’t take as long as NY did. All the images are from Elle.com, Vogue.com and Style.it. See you soon.
